Migration Theory…
Migration Theory wants the audience to feel as if they’ve made something just for them — because they have. Their original, immersive projects — part theatre, part dance, part film — capsize the conventional art experience by taking folks out of the theatre and into the community where they live. Migration Theory’s moving, earnest, gently participatory projects aspire to hit audiences “in the feels.” Migration Theory is a member of the Boise Arts, Culture, and History Anti-Racist Coalition and believes everyone should have access to the arts.
Migration Theory…
is the artistic name of Tracy Sunderland, who is the creative and directorial heart of Migration Theory. She is the company’s Producing Artistic Director, and also writes and performs in MT projects . She co-founded the company with Heidi Kraay and Sarah A Gardner in 2015.
